The Biggest Student-Led Festival is back to start your Lebanese Summer! 🇱🇧☀️🕺 

The 41st edition will be held on May 24 and 25 from 12 PM to 11 PM at the American University of Beirut. Enjoy a day full of the best activities, food, and performances!

AUB Outdoors 2025 – Event Guidelines, Prohibited & Accepted Items

In line with international festival regulations, AUB Policy, for your safety—our number one priority—please observe the following:

Guidelines

1. AUB Main Gateis the only entrance for all ticket holders.
2. Event Doors Close at 8:00 PM: Please plan your arrival accordingly.
3. Non-Smoking Venue: AUB Outdoors is a strictly non-smoking event.
4. Right of Admission Reserved: AUB Outdoors reserves the right to refuse entry.

7. Tickets are Non-Refundable.

Ticketing & Entry Terms

1. Upon admission, each attendee will receive a wristband; this must be worn continuously for the duration of the event.
2. Your wristband grants unlimited entry and exit on its valid day.
3. Two-day ticket holders must keep their wristband on throughout both days—it is waterproof and non-transferable.
4. Tickets are Non-Refundable.

Prohibited Items & Restrictions

The following items are not permitted within the event premises: (confiscated items will not be returned)

1. Weapons: Firearms, knives, tasers, pepper spray, or any items classified as weapons.
2. Drugs & Alcohol: Illegal substances, drugs, alcohol, or related paraphernalia.
3. Glass Containers: Glass bottles or containers to avoid potential injury.
4. Large Bags/Large Backpacks: Bags exceeding regular dimensions are prohibited for security reasons.
5. Drones/UAVs: Unauthorized drones or unmanned aerial vehicles.
6. Pets/Animals: No animals or pets are allowed.
7. Flammable Items: Fireworks, flares, lighters, matches, or other combustible materials.
8. Laser Pointers: Any device that emits lasers or disrupts performances or attendees' experiences.
9. Professional Cameras & Recording Equipment: Requires prior written approval (contact outdoors@aub.edu.lb).
10. Outside Food & Beverages: Personal food and drink items, including water bottles.
11. Smoking Items: Cigarettes, e-cigarettes, vaping devices, or tobacco-related products.
12. Umbrellas: Large umbrellas or items obstructing views or pathways.
13. Personal Transportation Devices: Bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades, scooters, etc.
14. Chairs & Blankets: Outside seating equipment; seating areas provided onsite.
15. Offensive/Inappropriate Clothing & Signage: Displays of offensive, derogatory, discriminatory, or politically affiliated imagery or language.
16. Political Affiliations: Clothing, signs, flags, or materials representing political parties.
17. Non-Lebanese Flags: Flags other than the official Lebanese national flag.
18. Perfume & Deodorant Bottles: Strong fragrances to prevent discomfort or allergic reactions.
19. Excess Medication: Only small quantities of medication in sealed packaging are allowed.
20. Face Coverings: Masks, full-face coverings, or items specifically used to cover faces, unless required for medical or religious purposes.
21. Illegal Merchandise: Unauthorized distribution or sale of promotional materials, merchandise, or products.
22. Noise-Making Devices: Air horns, whistles, megaphones, or other disruptive sound-producing items.
23. Illegal Activities: Any illegal or disruptive behavior.

Accepted Items

Please note the following items are permitted within the event grounds:

1. Makeup
2. Power Banks
3. Digital Cameras
4. Medication: Small quantities in sealed packaging.
5. Lebanese Flags: Celebrate a Lebanese summer!
